As a general rule, standard desks that are in stock are usually delivered within 3–7 days, while made-to-order desks typically take 2–4 weeks. Custom dimensions and special options, such as L-shaped desks or epoxy LED tabletops, may take longer.

Yes, all mounting holes are pre-drilled and equipped with metal inserts, making assembly simple.

Yes, all our desks come with pre-drilled mounting holes for compatible add-ons, so you can easily upgrade your desk at any time. Just make sure to choose extended cable management when ordering if you want to use our square add-ons later.

Yes. Our desk tops are pre-drilled and fitted with metal inserts for ErgoHide frames, but they also work with frames from other brands. In that case, you can mount the top using wood screws.

The standard sizes are 120 × 80 cm, 150 × 80 cm and 180 × 80 cm. If none of them fit your space, choose a custom size in our configurator, anywhere from 110 × 75 cm to 240 × 100 cm.

If you already have your own frame, we can also make a tabletop as shallow as 60 cm. This option isn't available in the configurator, so please contact us at hello@ergohide.com. An additional fee applies.

It's 100% solid and FSC-certified oak. We use full-stave construction: long oak lamellas, each running the full length of the top, glued together along their sides. No short pieces joined end to end, and no chipboard or MDF inside.

We finish our oak desk tops with Osmo Polyx-Oil Matt 3062. Unlike lacquer, the oil penetrates the wood instead of forming a thick coating on the surface. This protects the wood while keeping its natural look and feel.

We only use A/B quality wood for our desk tops, so the surface is always A quality, with as few knots as possible. However, oak is a natural material, so the grain, the small knots and the contrast between the lamellas are a little different on every top.

If you prefer a specific look, send us one or two photos from our customer desk setups after you order. We'll add them to your order, and our production team will pick boards as close to them as they can.

Yes. Besides natural oak, you can choose whitewashed oak and blackened oak in the configurator. We tone these to order, which adds about a week to the delivery time.

Not much is needed. Wipe up spills promptly, use coasters for glasses and mugs, and keep your desk at least 100 cm away from radiators. Ideally, room humidity should be around 50%.

We recommend applying a fresh coat of Osmo Polyx-Oil Matt 3062 about once a year, especially in areas you use the most.

Yes. Our L-shaped oak desk tops have two sections, each 80 cm deep and either 200 cm or 240 cm long as standard. Custom dimensions are also available, with each side measuring between 160 cm and 240 cm.

All our solid oak desk tops are 2.5 cm thick, regardless of the dimensions you choose. They are made from full-length solid oak lamellas glued together along their sides, without any joints along the length. This construction gives the tabletop a natural appearance, with the wood grain running from one end to the other.
