Our History

Founders' Story

Our journey began over 15 years ago when Hilarij purchased his first carpentry machine. Around the same time, Jure was establishing his own marketing agency. Their paths crossed in 2010, sparking a collaboration that would lay the foundation for our company.

The true catalyst for our business came eight years later, thanks to Žan, Hilarij’s son. Žan, a perfectionist at heart, was in search of the ideal desk. Dissatisfied with the options available on the market, he turned to his father to craft a custom solution. After much deliberation, design, and hard work, they created not just a desk, but a masterpiece that perfectly met his needs.

Realizing there might be many others in search of their perfect desk, Žan suggested expanding their efforts. With Jure’s expertise in marketing, they were ready to bring their exceptional solid wood desks to a broader audience. Thus, our company was born from a fusion of skilled craftsmanship and visionary marketing, driven by a family’s passion for perfection.

Early Years of Our Venture

Our first product

We founded our company in March 2021, and within that year, we also received the P2 incentive, recognizing us as a promising innovative startup. Although this was an encouraging sign, our journey to success was not immediate. Our first product, which featured a high-end design with built-in computer and colored water cooling, was too costly to produce. Despite its eye-catching appearance and receiving lots of praise, it didn’t translate into sales.

Over the next year, we took a step back to better understand the market. We engaged with potential customers to learn what they truly valued in a desk. Armed with this feedback, we developed a new product tailored to these preferences. Our persistence paid off when we made our first sales in March 2022, marking a significant turnaround exactly one year after we started.

Following this breakthrough, we experienced a noticeable uptick in demand, with sales growing month over month. We have remained committed to continuous product innovation and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction, factors that have been instrumental in our growing success.

We are passionate about crafting premium products that our customers adore and eagerly recommend to friends and family. That’s why all the wooden parts are made in our EU-based company using only solid wood from the local environment.

We’re excited to announce a new sustainability initiative: for every 100 desks sold, we will plant a tree!

After careful consideration on how to best contribute to environmental sustainability, we’ve decided to take a direct, hands-on approach. We are currently in the process of identifying a suitable non-building plot in the southern part of Slovenia for this purpose.

To put it into perspective, it takes about 3.75 cubic meters of wood to produce 100 desks, which is roughly the volume of a fully grown oak tree. By planting a tree for every 100 desks sold, we aim to replenish the natural resources we use, ensuring a greener future.

We plan to kickstart this project in 2025, aligning our business practices with our commitment to the planet’s health and sustainability.
